2024 has been a fantastic year for ONDC, full of growth, exciting changes, and a big impact on India’s e-commerce scene. Starting with 6.7 million orders in January 2024, the platform quickly grew to 14.4 million by the end of November—an amazing 114% increase. From April to November, ONDC processed a huge 44 million orders, showing just how fast the platform is expanding and changing the way people shop online.

The number of sellers on ONDC has also grown quickly, with around 6.5 Lakhs sellers/service providers now part of the network as of November 2024. While Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Delhi lead in the number of sellers, Karnataka continues to have the highest order count. At the district level, Bengaluru Urban stands out with over 6 million orders from April-November 2024, making it the top performing district in India.

Logistics have been key to this growth, with the volume jumping from 14,470 orders in January to 1.84 million in November—an incredible increase of about 12,500%. Mobility orders have also risen from 3.5 million in January to 6.64 million in November, showing a growing need for quick and efficient transportation.
